Andy Grammer

Grammer was born in Los Angeles, to Kathy Grammer and singer-songwriter Red Grammer, but grew up in Chester, New York, graduating from Monroe-Woodbury High School. As a child, Grammer learned to play the trumpet and later the guitar and the piano. He began writing songs at age 15. At 20, he left Binghamton University, and returned to the Los Angeles area, where he currently resides.[8] In 2007, he graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a B.A. in Music Industry Studies. In July 2012, Grammer married singer-songwriter Aijia Lise Guttman, known professionally as Aijia. He is a member of the Bahá'í Faith.

Grew up traveling with his father who was in a folk trio called the Limeliters
The memories of his young childhood are very intermingled with the music they played
Andy then proceeded to be a complete jock from around 7th grade until his senior year of highschool
Basketball was his sport of choice
When he came to terms that the NBA was not his destiny, he headed for the Theater scooping up two lead roles in two years at Binghamton University in upstate NY
Theater treated him well but music was his passion so he transfered to Cal State Northridge to Major in Music Business
He has toured in places like San Fransisco, NY, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee, Connecticut, Idaho, Arizona, Czech Republic, England, Haifa Isreal, New England, Lousiana, Illinois, Alaska and more
