Christina Aguilera

Christina María Aguilera (born December 18, 1980) is an American pop/R&B singer and songwriter.
Aguilera first appeared on national television in 1990 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in Disney Channel's television series The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993–1994, along with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
When she was 17, she sang on the soundtrack of the Disney movie Mulan.
Among the backstage demands at her concerts: 4 candles, a tray of organic vegetables, chocolate Nesquik, and a bottle of Flintstones vitamins.
She won the 1999 Grammy for Best New Artist, beating Britney Spears.
In between albums, Christina completely changed her image. She began "doing her own thing," adding a lot more hip hop and a lot less pop. Her hairstyle changed, and she even managed to change her voice to sound more like a rapper.
She described her forthcoming album as "short, sweet and completely different" from Back to Basics. The album is expected for release during summer 2009 and will be mostly produced by long time collaborator Linda Perry.
She married music producer Jordan Bratman in November, 2005.
