"Suspicions" was rerecorded by Tim McGraw in 2007 on his album Let It Go.
A cover of "Drivin' My Life Away" was recorded for the movie Black Dog starring Patrick Swayze. The cover was sung by Rhett Akins.
In 2006 Highspeed Hayride recorded a cover of "Drivin' My Life Away" on their "Thought You Should Know" album.
Rabbitt, and specifically his song "I Love a Rainy Night", is mentioned in the Weezer song "Heart Songs" as an influence of lead singer Rivers Cuomo.
In 1995, Rabbitt recorded two duets with Juice Newton for her "Platinum and Gold" two-CD set. The tracks are "Baby, I'm A Want You" and "Both To Each Other", a new version of the duo's #1 hit from 1986.
