John Mayer

  • John's song Waiting on the World to Change was featured on the television show So You Think You Can Dance.
  • On August 11, 2007, Mayer's song "Gravity" was played as a wake-up call for the crew of the Space Shuttle Endeavor. The astronauts have a different wake-up call for every day of the mission; Mayer's song was chosen by the family of Shuttle Pilot Charles Hobaugh.
  • On the red carpet before the 2007 Grammy Awards, John, speaking in Japanese, told Ryan Seacrest that Jessica (Simpson) is a wonderful woman that he cares very much about. With this statement, he put an end to all of the speculation in the media and finally admitted they they have been together for 7 months.
