  • Nazareth was formed in December 1968 in Dunfermline, Scotland.
  • The band moved to London, England in 1970, and released their self-titled debut album in 1971.
  • In February 2008, a new album was released on the Hamburg-based label Edel Entertainment entitled The Newz.
