After a mental breakdown, tons of criticism from his fans and non-fans alike, Kanye West has finally left the hospital, and returned back to his home. Departing from the UCLA Medical Center, ‘Ye left the hospital accompanied by his wife Kim Kardashian. According to recent reports, Kanye will still be under the watchful eye of his physician Michael Farzam, who was the one to call 911 and have West admitted into the hospital. Kanye will be spending this time with his children, family and wife.
There seems to be a ton on the plate of West, who recently cancelled shows for his Saint Pablo Tour indefinitely, as well as a recent album release, and the anniversary of the death of his mother. Additionally, working closely with Adidas, Kanye and their team have been hard at work designing new forms of the Yeezy Boost 350 and 750, which are selling for upwards of $2,000 on secondary markets.
While it’s unclear as to what is the exact cause of Kanye’s original breakdown, there is a clearly a lot of stress on the artist within the past six months. It’s not unheard of to go through hard times and while his departure from the hospital points to good things, there is likely much more time to be spent recovering from this incident than many have speculated.
Our thoughts are with the West/Kardashian family.

It’s been a week and a few days since Kanye West suffered that complete and total breakdown. First by cancelling his show at the L.A. Forum and then the following day, November 21st cancelling his entire tour and then hours later suffering the breakdown where cops were called and he was rushed to the hospital and put on a psych hold. We may now know what caused this. November 21st is the Anniversary of Kanye’s mothers death. If you recall, Donda West died back around that date due to complications from plastic surgery. He increasingly became emotional as that date approached and that along with touring, being a parent and providing emotional support for Kim who was robbed in Paris finally took its toll. He’s also never fully grieved over his mom’s death and has always had problems around this time. For now West remain hospitalized and sedated. There’s no word when he will be released but regardless of your thoughts on him or his music, this was serious and we wish him luck in his recovery.
Mr 305 is deep in a lawsuit over stealing a guitar riff for his super hit “Timber”. A long time ago legendary funk singer William Underwood created a track called, “Weak at the Knees” and Underwood is claiming is court that Pit and sampled it and used it for Timber. It should be noted that Pitbull isn’t being directly sued but his publishing company who wrote the track is. After listening to both we don’t hear the similarities but you be the judge:
I think we all saw this coming. Sources close to the West camp say Kanye was being checked out by one of his personal doctors for severe sleep deprivation when the physician decided his condition was much more than that. LAPD sources say West didn’t want to go and had to be placed in handcuffs where he was quickly wisked away to the UCLA Medical Center and held for a psychiatric evaluation. We all knew something was up after Kanye cancelled his Saint Pablo Tour and starting the verbal attack against Jay Z and Beyonce. I’m sure there will be much more to this story and we’re on it.
The American Music Awards threw down at the Los Angeles Microsoft Theater Sunday night and while it was an awards show, some might have thought it was a political campaign stop. Many a joke was thrown Donald Trumps way but the highlight for us was an emotional speech my Selena Gomez.
“I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down,” she said.
“But I kept it too much together to where I let myself down. I had to stop, because I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside.
“I don’t want to see your bodies on Instagram,” she said, indicating her heart. “I want to see what’s in here.
“I’m not trying to get validation, nor do I need it any more. All I can say is I’m so grateful that I have the opportunity to be able to share what I love every day with people that I love.
“But if you are broken, you do not have to stay broken. That’s one thing you should know about me – I care about people. And this is for you.”
Lady Gaga actually broke down and cried while Hailee Steinfeld hugged Selena as she left the stage.

…..If he had voted!
Kanye last night told the concert goers at his Saint Pablo Tour show in San Jose that “I would have voted on Trump”. He didn’t vote though so why even say anything?
At a cost of several songs, Kanye went on a 40 minute political rant about about the paradigm shift. More or Less Kanye praised Trump for providing the disruption Washington needed.
“Whether you voted for Hillary or Trump, this is a safe space for both of you,” he told the audience
He also reiterated his desire to run for president in 2020, saying his focus would be on education and that his campaign would use a different political model. We all can’t wait. After the Trump win, anything’s possible right?
The attitude at the show was very mixed. Kanye was apparently happy when one woman screamed that she loved him in spite of his appreciation of Trump’s campaign, but there was also a lot of booing, stunned silence and even a few projectiles – one of which was a Yeezy shoe, which Kanye promptly signed and returned to the thrower. Gotta love Kanye.
