Nas and Prodigy’s relationship has seen everything from fiery dis records to friendly collaboration projects, so it wasn’t a surprise when the Mobb Deep rapper reserved a part of his latest book to discuss how such frost developed between the two over the years.
In a recent interview with MTV, P touched the subject again and explained his first meeting with Nas, which took place during a battle rap in Queens- the area where both the MCs hail from. He further revealed that after his three year stint behind the bars, he called Nas to mend broken relations and end the feud once and for all. Not that she was short of any, but Kelly Rowland has gotten a huge motivation boost on the recently released ‘Motivation’ video, thanks to Lil Wayne’s appearance on the track. Rowland has done her trademark work on the song, singing in her usual sexy style, while Weezy has added his personal touch to make the collaboration sound more ‘urgent and urban,’-as according to the R&B singer herself.
Speaking in a post-release interview with MTV, Rowland said that she and Wayne go way back. The idea to do a joint venture came when Rowland was in the studio with music producers Jim Jonsin and Rico Love. According to Chris Brown, the meaning of the title of his new album ‘F.A.M.E.’ is ‘Forgiving All My Enemies’ or ‘Fans Are My Everything.’ However, out of the two suggested meanings by Brown, the former should be scrapped, as judging by his incredible outburst at today’s ‘Good Morning America’ show, it seems as if not everyone has been forgiven by him just yet.
Brown’s GMA incident could not have happened at a worse time as not only his new album is being released all over the US today, but the day’s other major offering by the singer is the video premier of his song ‘Beautiful People.’
Later today he was scheduled to appear at MTV’s “The Seven,” but due to the morning show fiasco earlier in the day, he decided against showing up at the MTV program. His video however, was released as per schedule. Continue reading Chris Brown Releases ‘Beautiful People’ Music Video »
The basic theme used by Marsha Ambrosius in her ‘Far Away’ music video is not the most freshest of the ideas. The clip features Ambrosius hanging out with a charming man who is well-liked by everyone in his company. However, as soon as his sexual orientation becomes clear, all who previously enjoyed the man’s company suddenly start acting completely differently towards him, which eventually leads to that man committing suicide. Foo Fighters have talked about the new creation process of their recently released album ‘Wasting Lights’ on multiple occasions but until now, they had not revealed the reason why they decided that a change was due. For their new album, the rock quintet opted to part ways with the high tech facilities of studios and went to record in a congested garage, where they had to record their music on outdated reel-to-reel tape machine instead of the state-of-the-art equipment that they are comfortable with. But according to the band frontman Dave Grohl, the whole move was initiated on purpose with a particular reason in mind.
