The dynamic band we’ve all grown up around is back again this year for another tour that is, well, sure to sell out like it did last summer. Yes, Blink-182 is back once again for a tour to promote their latest album — but let’s be honest, we’ll probably be seeing some of their older stuff in the mix as well, because nostalgia. Alongside the band will be smaller acts to open, The Naked And Famous, and Wavves. While this isn’t as big of an opener as last year, this does present a bigger opportunity for more core Blink fans to hit the show, rather than a majority of them looking for just the opening acts.
Last year, Blink toured the US in a number of shows that featured the likes of A Day To Remember, and All Time Low. Certainly bands that carry more of a popular name than the recent callouts, but that doesn’t mean fans won’t line up to hear the newest tunes.
Although California wasn’t like the older albums (especially with the absence of a certain singer), it rang true to classic Blink sound and featured the same breakdowns as older ones. In addition to their spring stint in the US, the band will also be heading overseas to the UK starting in July.
