Concert goers to a Punk Rock concert in Indonesia were caught off guard when authorities raided, detaining the punk rockers, forcibly shaved their Mohawks and held them for “re-education”.
When the authorities approached, concert goers had no idea what was in store for them. Immediately those who were on the scene were forced to brush their teeth and take a group bath for “spiritual cleansing” all after having their Mohawks forcibly shaved.

The cover girl is back & working on new material with a new label.
Madonna recently signed a three album deal with Universal Music Group’s Interscope for $3 million. The new contract is in addition to her ongoing 10 year contract with Live Nation (which she signed in 2007; potentially worth as much as $100 million). Madonna joins existing Interscope artists including Lady Gaga, P Diddy and 50 Cent.
Live Nation CEO Irving Azoff originally mentioned in Feburary that a marger could happen for the star sometime later in the year. “Live Nation, prior to the merger, entered into some of these all-rights deals, so there are certain artists, Madonna being one of them, that there is a recorded-music strategy,” Azoff said. “Once she gets the album recorded, we’ll sit down with her and her manager, Guy Oseary, and figure out what’s best for the record. It has to start with the music.”

On Friday December 2nd, Billboards held their 7th annual Billboard Women in Music event at Capitale in New York. Stars Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj were both honored in the event with Taylor Swift awarded “Woman of the Year” and Nicki Minaj awarded “Rising Star”.

December 6th marks the release of Amy Winehouse‘s posthumous album “Lioness: Hidden Treasures”.
Mitch Winehouse, Amy’s father stated, “The family view was nothing was going to go out unless it was comparable to ‘Frank’ or ‘Back To Black’. If it wasn’t as good as that then we wouldn’t have allowed it to go out.”
So while it was admittedly hard for the family to listen to the album, they gave their permission for the LP to be put out after deciding it was “comparable” to her previous studio albums, which included 2003’s ‘Frank’ and 2005’s ‘Back To Black’. Panic! At The Disco’s album “Vices & Virtues” is their first studio product after a hiatus of three years, during which time the band also parted ways with former members Jon Walker and Ryan Ross.
As their fans know, Panic! At The Disco posted a short movie-like teaser video titled “The Overture,” which was taken very warmly by their supporters. Cheap Trick has announced plans to open a music venue with museum and eatery on Chicago’s South Side. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the band will use the site of a former auto dealership on south Michigan Avenue. The venue is located near Chess, Vee-Jay and Brunswick Records, hugely popular during the 50’s and 60’s, and where Chuck Berry, the Rolling Stones and many other popular artists have recorded.
