Rihanna announced that she and Coldplay, who recently collaborated on “Princess of China” from ColdPlay’s new Mylo Xyloto album, would be playing together on stage during this years annual Grammy Awards. This year marks the e 54th annual Grammy Awards, scheduled for Februrary 12th, and will mark the first time Rihanna and Coldplay perform together live.

The Rock music genre is slipping, and Pop music has come to take it’s place.
Thanks to artists such as Lady Gaga and Adele, the Pop Music genre has surpassed the Rock Music genre for sales in 2011. In 2011 alone, Lady Gaga brought in an astounding $90 million in earnings, and Adele has covered the billboards with hit albums 21 at #1 and 19 at #4. Big hitting album sales such as this have pushed Pop music forward in the charts covering one third of the market (33.6%), up almost 3% from 2010 performance. Travie McCoy’s main motive behind releasing “Lazarus” last year was to supply his fans with a collection for the ‘good times.’
Those good times marked the beginning of a great time for McCoy, who then got to tour with Ke$ha and Rihanna, followed it up with several singles that performed admirably and, in spite of the fact that a year has passed, his good times are still going strong.

Recently, some paparazzi took pictures of Taylor Swift doing something extremely uncharacteristic. She wasn’t being arrested by police, nor did she come out of a night club without her underwear.
The shocking action in question? Buying stuff from Target.
While a guest on Jay Leno’s “The Tonight Show,” she explained that because of a video shoot, she is spending a few weeks in Los Angeles. Since she’s in LA, she doesn’t have her at-home necessities and had to pick some up, like a record player.

‘California King Bed’s music video featured a soft side of Rihanna’s personality. A post-love affair look was perfectly packed in the visuals by the director Anthony Mandler.
Rihanna and Mandler are quite familiar with each other, having previously collaborated for the videos of ‘Russian Roulette’ and ‘Only Girl (In the World).’ Hence, their track record suggests that a working musical chemistry certainly exists between the two. During a recent interview with MTV News, Mandler talked about how he and RiRi discovered a brand new side of the singer’s ever-evolving personality in their latest joint venture.
