4-28-2011 (7:17 am) Missing MIX Channel link on home page, although it still shows on the flash player and MP links inside. Does this point to a channel removal in future? I made most of my 500K points listening only to this channel. |

4-28-2011 (9:47 am) Well, I have to be honest, if The Mix channel as finished, I'm going to have to look around for an alternative music portal with no or miner Adds on the Web. I mainly use my media tablet to listen, but I can't claim points on it, as it isn't fully Java compatible, so the points are not the issue, but the type of music played on the Mix channel is. Today's Hits plays to much RNB and the other channels are just fixed on specific eras, where quite a lot of them play the groups or songs that I dislike! I had to change from Pandora in the past, as their license was no longer free to play in the UK, which had the same format of having few adds and no long and laborious gossip that bored me to death, but had good music. So now I'm at a conundrum, as I don't want to mess about using the pc as a juke box, as it would take ages and money to record my LPs and cassets on to the pc and the UK based radio stations are boring or rubish, as they play a lot of laborious RNB or groups and songs that I dettest and more gossip and adds* (exsept the non comersial radio stasions*) that you could throw at the Monkeys which would make them go Ape (yes I mean the group Monkeys, who are one of my favoueit groups). So could you please, please reinstate the Music Mix to put me out of missery, as the silense would drive me NUTS when I'm cooking my dinner, washing the pots or having a shower!!! |

4-28-2011 (1:46 pm) No it's not going away. We just relabeled some of the channels to help new users find what they are looking for. Nothing as far programming is changing. Great, but anyway I think that "MIX" says a lot more than "ADULT HITS". |

I was upset when I sew it for the first time. It was convenient. It was better for me to interpret classic rock as classic rock, mix channel as channel where I could listen all song from another channels, oldies is oldies. I can close my eyes to everything, but relabeling mix channel was most bizarre decision. |
