Neil Sedaka

Neil Sedaka (born March 13, 1939) is an American pop/rock singer, pianist, and composer. Since his music career began in 1957, he has sold millions of records as an artist and has written or co-written over 500 songs for himself and others, collaborating mostly with lyricists Howard Greenfield and Phil Cody

Neil once had his very own television special on NBC titled, "Neil Sedaka Steppin' Out" in 1976
Neil moved to England in 1970 to work on his comeback. While there, he worked with British music artist Elton John, whom helped Neil re-record some of his British music for U.S. release.
Like many other American music artists, Neil lost much of his popularity to the British Invasion of the early 60's. Because of this, Neil concentrated on his songwriting instead of performing and wrote hit songs for Tom Jones and The Fifth Dimension.
Neil's first major record contract was with RCA records.
Neil is of Caucasian descent
In 1983, Neil was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Neil stands at 5 5" or 1.65 m.
