Bone Thugs and Harmony

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is an American hip hop group from Cleveland, Ohio. It consists of rappers Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone and Flesh-N-Bone. American West Coast rapper Eazy-E, former member of rap group N.W.A, signed Bone Thugs-n-Harmony to Ruthless Records in late 1993, when Bone Thugs debuted with their EP Creepin on ah Come Up. The EP included their breakout hit single "Thuggish Ruggish Bone".

In 1995, the group released its second album E. 1999 Eternal, which included hits "1st of tha Month" and "East 1999." A tribute to the recently deceased Eazy-E, titled "Tha Crossroads", won a Grammy award in 1997. The Art of War, the group's third album, was also released in 1997. Bone Thugs is also the only group that has worked with deceased artists 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Eazy-E & Big Pun while they were still alive. The editors of About.com ranked them #12 on their list of the "25 Best Rap Groups of All Time", and MTV called them "the most melodic hip-hop group of all time".

In 2000, BTNHResurrection reached platinum in one month and Thug World Order (2002) received more moderate sales and promotion, going Gold and peaking at #3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. After the album the group went on hiatus and released their sixth studio album Thug Stories independently before returning in 2007 with the major label release Strength & Loyalty, this time released by Swizz Beatz's label Full Surface Records. Bone Thugs-n-Harmony officially returned with their new album Uni-5: The World's Enemy, released in 2010 by their own record label, BTNH Worldwide, with distribution by Warner Bros.

Due to conflicts within the group, longtime members Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone officially left the group in April 2011 to work with their independent label, The Life Ent. However, in 2012, Krayzie and Wish claimed they never really left and were in a state of mind where everything felt hopeless, thus claiming to quit. They would later return, officially re-unifying the group. In August 2013, Layzie Bone announced that he would be stepping aside to work more on his solo career. Also, in the same month, Bone signed with eOne Entertainment (formerly known as Koch Records).

Teamed up with Freeze Watches to launch "The Bones Watch," an exclusive watch that will combine the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony logo with skull and bones, to create an authentic looking wrist piece (June 2007).
Each member of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony has produced solo albums except Wish Bone.
Is the only artist in history to have collaborated with late hip-hop musicians such as Big Pun, Notorious B.I.G., Eazy-E, and Tupac Shakur.
Single "Get up and Get It" from album "Thug World Order" featured 3LW whose involvement was against the group's consent.
Many singles from the album "The Art of War" was dropped after September 11, 2001 tragedy in fear of offensive violent image and anti-law enforcement lyrics.
First single from "The Art of War" called "Look into My Eyes" was made the soundtrack of "Batman & Robin" (1997).
Album "The Art of War" is a direct intention to declare war against rapper whom they felt copying their style and originality.
Originally named third album after Cleveland backwards "DNA Level C" but decided to change it to "The Art of War" after a book by author Sun Tzu.
"Tha Crossroads" was covered by UK pop-rap band Blazin' Squad and charted #1 in UK Singles Chart.
The song "Tha Crossroads" was remixed to "See You at the Crossroads" and took an unexpected meaning in 1995 when their favorite rapper Eazy-E passed away.
"Tha Crossroads" in tie with the popularity of The Beatles' 32-year-old record for the fastest-rising single.
Believed that the world is going to end in 1999 and got their "E 1999 Eternal" album artwork from movie "Terminator 2".
