Daniel John Bedingfield is a UK-based singer songwriter. His work is usually classified as Pop.

He was born on December 3, 1979 in New Zealand, moving to the United Kingdom when he was a child. He’s an older brother of pop singer, Natasha Bedingfield and jazz singer Nikola Rachelle. After a song called “Gotta Get Thru This” (which he recorded in his bedroom) gathered momentum on white label, it went on to become a #1 hit in the UK Top 40 in December 2001. He has since had 2 more #1 singles (“If You’re Not The One” and “Never Gonna Leave Your Side”) as well as 2 other top 10 singles and a top 30 single. His album also titled Gotta Get Thru This, also reached #2 in the UK albums chart. Bedingfield is an outspoken Christian, whose parents are missionaries. He openly shares his faith during concerts and occasionally in his songs, although not all of them.

Born in New Zealand 21 years ago.
Bedingfield grew up in South East London, educated at home by his parents, taking his first musical steps at age nine with sisters Natasha and Nicola in progressive R&B group The DNA Algorithm before graduating on to the garage.
Mostly influenced by contemporary R&B artists.
Inspired by a girlfriend from Leeds, Daniel Bedingfield recorded "Gotta Get Thru This" in his bedroom with a microphone plugged to his home computer.
In December 2001, just a few weeks after its release by the independent Relentless Records, his song went straight to the top on the U.K. singles chart.
