After leaving Trauma records Rossdale's band Bush signed with Atlantic Records in hope of gaining the publicity, money and respect that they deserved. The result was the album "Golden State".
The album flew with critics who praised the album as Bush's strongest outing yet. The album however was not publicized well by Atlantic and despite a sold out tour the album did not sell well. Bush has been inactive since 2001.
Has a Puli sheepdog named Winston who is featured on the cover of Bush's debut album.
Married to singer/actress girlfriend, Gwen Stefani (lead singer of No Doubt).
He and his wife are friends with Roger Federer and Mirka Vavrinec (Federer's girlfriend).
Released "Wanderlust" solo album on June 3, 2008. Single "Love remains the same" debuted on VH-1 at #9.

His wife Gwen Stefani gave birth to their second child, a baby boy named Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale on 21 August, 2008. The baby was born at 12:46 p.m. PST in Los Angeles, and weighed in 8.5 lbs.
