Recently my local "Oldies" station has started playing music from the 80's. I'm sorry but I still don't think the 80's is old enough to be "oldies" yet. There are some good classic rock from that era. But in my mind, it's only the mid 50's to maybe early 70's. So right now 977 is the only "true" oldies station I can listen to.

WE do have a similar station here in South Devon UK...called Gold South Devon...same format good oldies but toooo many adverts...thats whats swung it for me..dont care where i hear them played as long as its advert free...this station will do for me ...K.U.T.G.W...Peace and Love to all.
