About Me:
Ruth Lamb 1974 - 2007
This isn't the easiest thing our family has had to endure since we lost our beautiful ray of sunshine Ruth Lamb. Ruth was diagnosed with having breast Cancer in 1997 and had various operations and chemotherapy, as well as radiotherapy to have the tumour removed.
For most families this is a very difficult journey having to deal with the pressures, stresses, strains and the constant worrying over our loved one's deterioating health. Ruth had struggles with fighting with cancer spanning a cycle over ten years. We had struggled to pull through the pressure of Ruth's condition as the trials and tribulations had hit us at every turn when Ruth started to get a little weaker everytime Ruth was given her daily doses of chemo and radiotherapy. Eventually Ruth looked like she was starting to make progress and looked a little more healthier, and began to look brighter, and emotionally stronger than the rest of us were at that time.
Ruth was only 32 years old when she passed away in 2007 leaving three beautiful children behind Amber, Olivia and Dominic. They miss their mummy and understand that she is now in a safe place in heaven. And Ruth will always be with them in their hearts and minds.
As a family we thought this would be a fittng tribute to a very beautiful Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Niece, Cousin and Grand Daughter.
We are hoping to Raise £3,000,00 for Cancer Research UK to help them to get the much needed funds together so we can raise more awareness to everyone Man and Women out there about the danger of breast cancer.
At Ruth Lamb Official Cancer Awareness Fund (RLCAF) We are aiming to raise as much funds for Cancer Research UK to provide vital equipment for cancer patients within in UK & Ireland. Help students with their progress with helping and maintaining vital research within the Cancer Research UK science labs. Without your donations and support to CRUK none of the research at Cancer Research UK labs will never be possible to search and to find a cure for most cancers. Your support and donations are paramount to our cause at RLCAF.
We need your support to offer care and support to the people who are in need of your support by helping them through their grieving process and offering family members vital screening test to detect any gene abnormalities they may have.
We are hoping to raise more funding for more research purposes to have the chance to have better equipment to provided the scientist at CRUK to find the answer to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
Which will lead to making the medicines more advanced which will enable CRUK to provide cancer patients with the best of care they need.
