Boredom
Can boredom kill you? I've heard that question quite a few times, but never once have I had a good answer to it. I sure hope it can't, and it probably is so or I'd have ...

When I grow up..!
Growing up, I've had some good ideas on what I want to be when I'm all grown up. One of the first ones was a potato peeler. That passion, that ambition! I still don't kn...

Shutter Island, the product of Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese's liaison (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1130884/)  has got my attention lately. Lots of good actors, thrilling, love, all that. Is that enough?

Generally I'm not into this kind of movies but last weekend I saw this one, and man, it had all the stuff you could clump in one film. Nazis, loonies, detectives and crazy weather, and the lost love. I found some of the scenes with the concentration camp and later the bloody ones unnecessary and, I admit, rather shocking, but as I've said, this isn't my genre.

This is also the kind of film I love till it's almost over. Just until the twist in the plot. What a brainf*ck. I still don't know what to think. Do you?

Hallo Deutschland!

I am actually interested in finding out people's whereabouts. Is there a lot of folk outside the US? Let us know!

And snowy greetings from Finland!

I like this idea, too. There are so many people from so many places, I'd love to hear more about them!

I don't know really, sometimes it happens. Just wanted to make sure. I'm just worried about getting my name right (eventually), it is probably pretty important in this kind of things, and my last name has umlauts in the vowels.

This was interesting. I assume you will be able to send these prizes to registered users outside the US as well?

I'd like the idea of having a more general area for discussion here, not only music and movies. Maybe it's not what this site's about but I think there could be use for stuff like that.

I can't believe I forgot to check that out. If it's anything like Wedding Crashers, I'll probably love it (my favourite movie IS, after all, There's something about Mary...)!

I've listened to Smooth Jazz stations before (maybe that one, not sure) but last time I tried to listen to it, there was some crappy Xmas thing on. I was abashed. Not for me, then. Maybe after the Christmas it'll be good again.

I only listen to it when I'm at home. I'm used to living in a home with folks around so now living away it often feels so quiet that I like to have some background music. Smooth Jazz works well for that, it isn't too annoying or repetitive and occasionally I even manage to make my homework listening to it since I can't sing along to instrumental songs. :P
